President’s Announcement : RC Kampong Baharu shall focus on two activities to kick off 08-09 session. For community service “Majlis berbuka puasa” and “Family get together”. The breakfast session may also double up as “Guest day” to promote the club and increase public awareness on Rotary.
Directors Report: PP Shah informed RI dues has been paid. Coupons being used to facilitate easy monitoring by members on club dues. PP Ruzman handed Check book (admin acc) and club’s stamp to incoming treasurer PP Shah. It was agreed rm900 check to be issued to PP Shah as part payment for advancing RI dues. PP Shah reminded members on rckb blog as mean of distribution infos among rckbrians.

The Rotary Club of Temerloh will be organizing their 33rd installation dinner on the 27July08. Thanks God we have done ours albeit a simple one. So now you are free to attend any installation organized by other clubs in the district. Self sponsored. For this one the details as below;

1st mtng RCKB 08-09

RC Kampong Baharu had their first meeting for 08-09 session at Lotus Restaurant instead of normal venue at Selesa Inn. Attendance at 38% if we consider current membership at 13. If we go by active member category ie those who meet the 60% attendance requirement under RI by law then the attendance may looked considerably better ie 83%. My ma thematic is not that good anymore these days, especially after recent fuel hike. It is almost impossible to do budgeting if cost of goods and services is going up by the day. One of my friend lamented the other day "This thingy going up only make house wife happy." He he he I had to think about this one. Lets see how Bank Negara spin the next announcement on inflation and employment index. She will conclude our economy is much better compared to Meldorova.. hey! where is that?

Meeting attendance was noted as very poor lately. Feedbacks on Installtion was discussed. All claim to be reimbursed when financial situation permit.
Directors Report: IPP Shah presented report on Installation dinner account and Riang Ria bersama mu project carried out during 07-08 period. Amount outstanding to be reconciled withTreasurer. Several members have had to settled the refreshment bill to Selesa Inn. Treasurer to reimburce the amout asap.

RCKB Weekly meeting 01/08-09

Mesyuarat mingguan pertama bagi penggal 08-09 akan diadakan besok, 2hb Jul 2008. Oleh kerana ajk baru akan mengambil alih tugas saya ingin mengingatkan semua termasuklah diri saya sendiri supaya perjalanan mesyuarat lancar dan berkesan.
(1) President mengumunkan tentang mesyuarat dan menyediakan agenda.
(2) Club service director booking tempat dan membuat persediaan jikaada keperluan dll. Kalau <5 mungkin jumpa di Lotus sahaja untukmenjimatkan kos. Memberi tugasan kepada rotarian jika perlu. Persediaanjika ada penceramah dan tetamu.
(3) Setiausaha mengambil minit jika perlu.
(4) Bendahari membuat kutipan dan pembayaran jika perlu.
(5) BOD menyediakan laporan masing masing.
(6) Semua rotarian menyedikan input masing masing jika ada.
Diminta semua yang berpengalaman menokok tambah mana yang perlu supaya RCKB 08-09 maju kehadapan.

New Rotary year 08-09

Lets us usher the new Rotary year 08/09 under President Roslan with new determinations to always improve on what we have done the previous Rotary year 07/08 under IPP Amin. You can judge by yourself on RCKB performance. Lets the past taught us valuable lesson and lets look forward and plan our next step forward.
I would like to thank IPP Amin for leading us for the past one year and sincerely hope the exposure not only benefitted himself but will enable him to support RCKB future undertaking. Also my thanks to all of you for carrying us to another year.
Thanking for asking me to be the treasurer and I hope you do not regret it when you find me chasing you to update your club dues, he he he. Jokes aside I shall only ask what you owe the club and nothing more. For this purpose I have devise a very simple process where you will be monitoring your own dues. More of this when we meet at the next meeting.
I am no accountant but willing to learn to be one.
