Intercity Meeting with RI President DK Lee
Date: 10th March 2009, Tuesday.

The meeting saw many Rotarian being recognised for their contributions over the past one year. My sincere wish that RCKB too will be properly recognised in future, ie after we have done our bit for the community.

Plenty of reading to catch up by the members. Discussion centred on roles of club president and guest day planned on 23rd March 2009. For RYLA 2009 RCKB sponsored two candidates as informed by CP Hj. Razali who will making the trip to OBS Lumut for the opening ceremony.

District Governor RD3300 visit to Rotary Club of Kampong Baharu.

Venue: Selesa Inn Maju Palace Restaurant, Maju Junction, KL.

The Club was very delighted to receive special guests for the evening. DG was very understanding with the Club situation and continue to give moral support and hope the club will improve its performance for the rest of the year. He stressed on the importance of getting new blood to the club. Only with sizable number the club can contribute effectively to the community. The members were motivated by encouragement from the DG. What strike the members the simple down to earth approach shown by DG in ensuring all Rotarian played their roles effectively.

RCKB weekly meeting 03/2009 , 21st Jan 09
Selesa Inn/ Restaurant Lotus
Heavy rain in certain part of Klang valley causing massive traffic jam at NKVE. Meeting attended by Hj.Razali, Mohd Shah and P.Roslan.
MShah hilite to President many members are not getting RI magazines and District newsletters. As dues being paid members are entitled to get these items. Sulaiman club being proposed as future venue for meeting as it is more strategic.

RCKB WEEKLY MEETING 02/2009 14th.Jan2009
We are entering 2nd meeting for the new year. Meeting was attended by P.Roslan, R.Dr.Feardaus, PP Ruzman, R.Helmy and PP Shah.
Good discussion on how to proceed for the rest of the year. Priority is to induct new member and strengthened the club.

RCKB WEETING 01/2009
RCKB held its first weekly neeting for year 2009 at Selesa Cafe restaurant on Wednesday 7th. January 2009. The meeting was attended by President Roslan, PP Shah and Rotarian Helmy.
P. Roslan reported District assembly was held at Ipoh, RCKB was represented by CP Hj. Razali and PE Dr. Feardaus.
PP Shah informed RI dues and District dues for Jul-Dec 08 period had been paid.
